Huawei talked about the new features of EMUI 10
The time when the network was buzzing like a hive about the war between Huawei and the US government ended in relatively little blood (or a temporary ceasefire). Now it is unclear whether Huawei will try to release Hongmeng, take up the Aurora OS or continue to work on Android, but the other day the company representatives spoke about the key features of EMUI 10.
What’s New in EMUI 10
According to current information, the main visual change will be a new interface and redesigned animation. In addition, the changes will affect the “Gallery”, which will have new features for automatically sorting photos and videos.
At the system level, the video ringtone feature will now be available. Most likely, it will be possible to tie not only a photograph to the contact, as is done now but also a short video.
Small changes will also affect themes, screensavers and fonts. Most likely we will get several new options that are added with each release of the new firmware and are an on-duty update.
If these changes do not seem sufficient to you, I’ll add what else has been said about improving the functions related to system animation, games and video playback. The novelty will be supported on all smartphones of the company compatible with Android 10.
Colleagues from the Android Central edition have already tried installing the shell on the Huawei P30 Pro and shared very interesting screenshots.
When can I install EMUI 10
Most likely, the final version of the new shell will be presented in September. It is possible that they will talk about it simultaneously with the presentation of the Huawei Mate 30. According to rumours, it should be held on September 22.
Huawei Mate 30 will traditionally be released in several versions and will be the crown of the company’s technology. Recently, there is a clear tradition of increasing the value of flagships from generation to generation. It seems to me that with the Mate 30 the tradition will be broken.
Why Huawei Mate 30 will not be more expensive than Mate 20
When Huawei smartphones were just starting to conquer the market, like all other newcomers, they were relatively inexpensive. Over the years, the company has grown stronger, has acquired fans, has strengthened its authority and gained the right to set prices that it sees fit.
Recently, there has been a downward trend in the cost of smartphones Huawei and Honor against the backdrop of the uncertain future of the company. Most likely, with the release of the Mate 30 line, the company will again try to attract users at a low price. If this really happens, the new product will be a very good offer, since it will not stop working, but it will not cost so much compared to other flagships.
